First off - if it doesn’t come from a tit, it’s not milk 💁‍♀️

Sugars and unknown “additives” aside, gum additives in many vegan “milks” and foods are highly allergenic. Symptoms from gums like the Gellan and Locust Bean in this brand, include: Diarrhea, bloating, cramping, stomach pain, runny nose, sinus congestion, and in some cases severe body pain and hives. In addition, those with leaky gut and other GI upsets (like being gluten intolerant), are more prone to severe side effects.

Few people are aware that clean, raw milk from grass-fed cows was actually used as a medicine in the early part of the last century. Milk straight from the udder, a sort of "stem cell" of foods, was used as medicine to treat, and frequently cure some serious chronic diseases. From the time of Hippocrates to until just after World War II, this "white blood" nourished and healed uncounted millions.

Clean raw milk from pastured, grass fed cows is a complete and properly balanced food. You could live on it exclusively if you had to, and it has all 8 essential amino acids in varying amounts.

I have a difficult time digesting lactose, but raw milk (the last time I was fortunate to have it) did not give me tummy troubles!)

If you simply cannot obtain raw milk from a local, trusted farm and you love it, go for organic, grass fed from a local store. Lactose free options for organic are available.
